We want to let you know how happy we are with our Spa/Salon Software.

Before we opened Deonne Salon and Day Spa in November 2003, we investigated every piece of salon/spa software we could find. We picked The Spa/Salon Manager because it's very user-friendly and gives us the opportunity to import our sales and payroll into Quicken or Quickbooks for our accounting. It's very easy to train receptionists to use, and more importantly, easy for the receptionists to quickly book an appointment and check out a client.

Since opening, we have discovered a couple of features that we can highly recommend to your other Spa/Salon users.

We love the email feature! Every 2-3 weeks, a couple of our spa employees will have a lot of open times. We email  a "Special Offer" to our clients offering a discount for a spa service and within 24-48 hours, their books will be filled up. We make the "Special Offer" very limited in time, so the emergency of the offer makes clients book quickly. It has created a lot of additional income for our business and our staff. The best part is that it's FREE advertising.

The best feature is your On-Line Booking. In January 2004 we started using your On-Line Booking feature. Our service providers promoted the ability to book on-line to their clients and it was a big hit. That has been a great marketing tool for us because it makes us stand out from the rest of our competition AND it has saved us money. In the last 18 months, since we started using On-Line Booking, we have had over 23,000 hits to our website. Our clients love it!

  • On-line booking has eliminated all the early morning calls from the stylists who wanted to know what their schedule is for the day. They can log-in to the system and see their schedule without calling the salon.
  • It has eliminated the barrage of phone of calls the first thing every morning. We get so many people booking on-line that we have now eliminated a 2nd receptionist for the first 1½ hours each day. That's 7½ hours a week - 30 hours a month. Those 30 hours of receptionist time more than pay for our monthly Internet Access plus our On-Line Booking.
  • Another benefit of On-Line Booking is that our receptionists have more time to spend on each client that calls for an appointment. That means less clients being put on hold and happier clients.
  • We find that we average 9 - 15 on-line bookings every day. That's 8 - 15 calls that our receptionists didn't have to take.

This is just a big THANK YOU! This software has been the saving grace for my business. While I was recovering from a serious injury, the software saved my business. It really did and you should be proud to know that. On so many levels from e-mails to keeping track of loss, ordering products from a home computer that was linked to my shop.  A big brother for employee theft, and so on... This letter is a long overdue thank you to all of you at IBCS. The past twelve years have been a tremendous learning experience and we couldn't have done it without you. The Salon Manager revolutionized the way we did business almost fourteen years ago by helping us track business and inventory. I started with the Salon Manager when I first opened my business with 4 employees and 1500 sq. ft. of space. It was the perfect software in that it was simple and very user friendly as I had no computer experience. Even though I was terrified of having our appointment book and running the whole business on computers, I knew it was the wave of the future.

We have grown into an over 2 million dollar salon with 3 locations and 70 employees in 9 short years. This is an extremely fast growth rate and it has been challenging for our software to keep up with us. At one point, we decided to go with another software program when we needed to go to a central booking room and online booking. We quickly realized that the Spa/Salon Manager was truly the most advanced software in this industry. The Spa/Salon is the most supportive and willing to change with our company.
